UK/Domestic Holiday & Attraction - Definition

Holiday companies, hospitality providers, attractions and destination marketing organisations who provide products and experiences for the domestic and inbound tourism market.

 

Entry Criteria:

 

Best UK Leisure/Heritage Attraction

 

Open to individual attractions at a specific location. NOT umbrella organisations representing a group e.g. Continuum Group, Merlin Entertainment, National Trust, (National Maritime Museum, Cornwall not National Maritime Museum) etc.

 

Best UK Holiday County or Region

Best UK Seaside Town

 

These two categories are NOT intended for commercial enterprises e.g. holiday parks, location specific accommodation providers etc.

 

Companies can nominate in these categories but priority will be given to nomination applications from official entities and LEP’s representing a county, region or town. If there are no priority applications and more than one commercial enterprise applies for the same listing, preference will be given to the first approved application.

 

The listing format on the consumer voting form will appear as:

 

Place [county, region or town] website address [nominating organisation]

A75 - Best UK Family Holiday / Holiday Parks Operator

A76 - Best UK Leisure/Heritage Attraction

A77 - Best UK Holiday County or Region

Can be a county or recognised visitor attraction e.g. National Parks, AONBs, Scottish National Scenic Areas etc.

A78 - Best UK Seaside Town
