30 July 2018: We are four weeks into polling for the British Travel Awards 2018. Select from the menu on the left to check the number of votes cast in the various award sectors up to 06:20 on Monday 30 July.
The counts are a straight lift from the raw data and have not been subject to any checks or verification processes.
There are nine weeks remaining until voting closes on 30 September 2018.
Many nominees have been busy: adding dedicated BTA page(s) or the vote button to their websites, employing social media - with the link to their direct vote form - to lobby support and by including the BTA nominee logo and vote button in their press advertisements and other printed collateral.
Our daily tracking software has also identified a number of voting spikes during the four weeks for individual nominees which has significantly increased their vote count. This would suggest nominees who take the time to target their customers with a "call to action" via direct email or other one-to-one communication channels realise the most positive response.
It's early days and there is still everything to play for.
Voting activity reaches its peak during September, when the majority of consumers return from their annual break, with their holiday experience fresh in their mind. But, the successful companies are those who lobby throughout the voting cycle to build a bank of support prior to the last minute rush.
