Holiday and travel companies, UK tourism stakeholders and visitor attractions have until 31st May to submit their nominations for award category listing. There are currently 83 categories spanning all kinds of travel experience: package holidays, transport, accommodation, destinations, cruise, holiday add on services, UK visitor attractions and customer service.

There are no requirements for time consuming company profile submissions detailing goals and achievements - we just need to know the name of the brand(s) you wish to nominate and in which categories. The winners are determined by the number of consumer votes they receive.

The British Travel Awards has been registering public opinion on the performance of enterprises operating in the leisure travel sector since 2008. During that time the awards programme has experienced a phenomenal year-on-year growth in consumer participation; with 2015 proving a landmark year when over a quarter of a million households voted for their favourite companies and brands.

2015 also saw a staggering 97% of the total votes cast going to nominated companies. And, over the past year the 2015 winners page has been visited over 4.2 million times - showing that a British Travel Awards accolade is the consumer's recognised benchmark of excellence and a positive influence towards growing your business.

During the nomination cycle we shall be regularly updating this year's contenders on the accompanying award categories pages. Follow us on Twitter for news of when the latest updates are posted.
