#BTA20 and the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic

A short message to our BTA partners, sponsors, colleagues, travel and leisure industry friends...

We realise we are not on your priority list at the moment, but I just wanted to reach out to you and let you know that the BTA team are all willing you on and hoping for good news for your businesses and our industry soon.


We  don’t want to be insensitive, so we will keep all BTA related emails to the bare minimum for the time being, and we will let you know in due course how the British Travel Awards will work in 2020.


We will be making inevitable changes to the awards nomination process, categories, voting and our consumer-facing messages to ensure relevance and reflection on the current situation - but, however it plays out, we will be there alongside you, to remind your customers and BTA voters that you are still there to provide them with dream holidays and travel experiences when things return to some semblance of normality.


We’re thinking of you all at this difficult time in business, and when our wonderful industry has recovered - as we know it will - we’ll be out there promoting your businesses with the support of BTA consumer media partners at Reach PLC and our trade media partners at Travelmole who will be publishing BTA updates to their audiences, as and when appropriate.
